NHSX Digital Health Partnership Award applications open
The Digital Health Partnership Award for supporting people at home is being run across two phases in 2021 to 2022. Both phases will look to scale digital products and services that support people remotely to monitor their health and care.
1 November 2021 saw the launch of the second phase of NHSX ‘Digital Health Partnership Award’. Alongside the wider NHSX agenda, the partnership is aiming to find scalable digital technologies that improve patient care in the community.
The award supports technologies across the spectrum of development, from novel deployment through to scaling proven technology.
NHS organisations are invited to bid for funding between £100,000 and £500,000 to deploy proven digital health technologies, which can fall into the following categories:
- Optimising care pathways
- Patient-centric data exchange
- Self-management health technologies
- Systematic efficiencies
Malinko’s e-scheduling software is currently supporting NHS community organisations across the UK to provide safe, clinical care delivery at home. Using technology to dramatically improve team efficiencies whilst reducing the time taken to manage the admin, Malinko makes it simple to optimise clinical community caseloads – matching clinical skill with patient need.
Reliable data capture via the Malinko app allows community teams to make better, data-driven decisions that support admission avoidance and safe hospital discharges – alleviating the pressure on both hospital and community services. Community health and social care teams gain a true understanding of capacity and demand across their services, helping them articulate their value and provide evidence for funding.
Providing there is clear, demonstrable improvement to patient care, in addition to adherence with the DTAC and medical device requirements, this could help launch the next phase of digital transformation for your community teams.
You can see the full requirements from NHSX here. The award closes on 10 December 2021.
